PlayAbility

Music Making for Supported Adults.

Keeping the creative achievements of disabled people visible (and audible!) within the heart of our community.

We use a huge range of accessible musical instruments, including interactive music technology, carefully researched to ensure there is something for everyone, regardless of their ability, disability, illness, or impairment. We learn set pieces, take requests, and have a short break time for people to grab a drink and socialise.

On top of weekly rehearsals we aim to run two or three public performances each academic year, by way of a huge celebratory party, welcoming in the whole community!
