THIS IS TWO EVENTS IN ONE!

Part One - Join the Music

Join the most inclusive, hands-on music workshop you've ever experienced, hosted by Now Hear This Music C.I.C., and featuring local singer-songwriter Ian Smith, AKA Little Smudge. Together we'll learn and play Little Smudge's family-friendly folksong, The Thrush & the Snail (A Spring Day). A wide array of acoustic instruments, including pitched and unpitched percussion, will be available as we learn and perform this brilliant song together.
Got an instrument at home? Get a head start by
having a listen and playing along before the big day!

Part Two - Big Band for Early Birds

We believe that live music should be accessible to everyone. While so many gigs take place late in the evening, we're offering a rare mid-afternoon spectacular! Enjoy the thrill of a traditional big band up close in a daytime setting, as we welcome Bristol's all-female big band SISTERS OF SWING to the stage for a full set of popular works from this powerful genre. Sit back and relax with a drink from the bar, or get up and dance away the rest of the afternoon!

We can’t wait to welcome you to this joyful celebration of inclusive, collaborative music-making, suitable for all ages!

If you’re unable to attend this event but would still like to support us, please consider a one-off donation.
